Kelsea Ballerini Delivers Bold Message to "Speculators" Following Chase Stokes Split.
A little baggage is being dropped by Kelsea Ballerini. The "I Hate Love Songs" singer posted an angry letter regarding rumors that she was spotted leaving a Nashville, Tennessee, hair salon on September 21st, just over a week after her split with boyfriend Chase Stokes was officially announced.
“CC: speculators, ‘sources’, and hidden cameras outside the hair salon,” a video uploaded to TikTok on September 23 was captioned by Kelsea. “Let us be. please.”
The 32-year-old included Ariana Grande's "Shut Up" in the video, where Kelsea, wearing a white tank top and a slicked back bun, was seen resting on a couch outside while bopping about to the beat of the song with her head in her hands.

After taking a sip of an energy drink, the vocalist of "Penthouse" pointed to the camera while the line, "Maybe you should shut up," played.
Although Kelsea and Chase, 33, have not discussed their split in public, a representative for the singer confirmed on September 14 that the couple had indeed broken up after over three years spent together.
The two had been the focus of breakup rumors before they parted ways because Kelsea removed social media posts that featured Chase. He swiftly put an end to the rumors at the moment, though, by sharing a cute photo of her dog Dibs on Instagram along with a red heart emoji.
Just two days prior to the split being officially announced, the Outer Banks actress posted a heartfelt birthday greeting to Kelsea on Instagram on her 32nd birthday.
“Although you keep saying you’re not excited for 32,” alongside pictures of the two, he commented on September 12: “I’d say I’m lookin’ forward to more of this.”
He went on, “Happy birthday my love.”
Additionally, Chase had previously stated that there were parts of their relationship that he would like to keep private, even though the two were never afraid to discuss their romance.
"Sometimes it feels like maybe it's an oversharing situation, or maybe there's a lot of details," he disclosed in September of last year, "but I truthfully believe that my personal life is really, really private. For the most part, I still feel like I have a really good grasp on my privacy."
