Kim Kardashian opens up about why dating seems less desirable to her following her divorce from Kanye “Ye” West.
Kim Kardashian is controlling her emotions. Nearly five years after splitting from ex-husband Kanye "Ye" West, the Kardashians star spoke out about her dating life and her current anxiety about finding love.
“You get really comfortable the longer you’re single," she stated during a confessional on her Hulu reality series of November 13 episode. "You get really comfortable being single and the thought of you sharing a bed or your TV shows with someone else becomes less and less appealing because you get set in your ways.”
During a heart-to-heart with her co-star Sarah Paulson from All's Fair, Kim was faced with the notion, stating that she had observed the 45-year-old's urge to "protect" herself from the outside world.

"Even think about the amount of times you’re trying to keep everything little and tight around your kids," Kim, who has children with Ye, including North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5, was informed by the Emmy winner. "I’m actually wanting more for you of whatever the great romance of your life is, for that to be able to bloom."
Kim agrees with Sarah that she has put on a tough front after the divorce, but she is not really interested in putting romance ahead of her work and family.
"I know Sarah feels like I have put up this wall to overprotect myself so that I just may be don’t open up to love," In a confessional, Kim confirmed, "but it’s OK to close down a bit and focus on the things that I want in life.”
However, this does not imply that the founder of SKIMS has permanently given up on dating. In her own words, "I’m the biggest hopeless romantic. When the right person comes along, I’ll be so ready and everything will be fine."
