Kim Kardashian is here to update you on a rumor that has been going around for ten years. The Kardashians star recently cleared up long-standing rumors that she had neglected to bring her daughter outside to meet the waiting paparazzi by responding to a 2014 footage of her leaving a Paris hotel empty-handed before turning around to pick up her then-toddler Northwest.
Kim, who at the time was wearing a gray coat, matching leggings, and a distressed pink hoodie, posted on her Instagram Stories on July 11: "I wanted to show off the look before holding her," because "her attire did not match mine!"
"I did not forget her!!!!" she added. Shortly after the incident, Kim had also explained that she did not leave North, whom she shares with her ex-husband Kanye "Ye" West. "I went to the car to make sure the car seat was in because the day before we had a car seat issue," she wrote on X in October 2014.

Kim went on, mockingly asking, "Do you guys really think a one-year-old would be inside the lobby by herself?" "Oh, wait she was waiting to check out lol."
And now that North is twelve, it is nearly impossible to ignore her. After all, Kim stated that she has become a very outspoken preteen.
"She's a big critiquer," Kim told Vogue at the 2025 Met Gala. "But it's pretty good, you know, her critiquing." Indeed, according to the mother of four, who also has children with Ye, Saint West, 9, Chicago West, 7, and Psalm West, 5, her oldest child provides feedback from a "really positive place."
