The process of naming Nara Smith's child was not very easy. Before choosing Fawnie Golden Smith, the TikToker who recently welcomed her fourth child with husband Lucky Blue Smith admitted that she thought about a few options.
"Here's some baby names I love but didn't use this time around," Nara posted on a TikTok on October 17. "For reference, our kids have pretty unique names. We have Rumble Honey, Slim Easy, Whimsy Lou and now Fawnie Golden. Since this is my last baby, this is also the last video of this sort I will do."
And Nara clarified, "So for boys names, I love the name Denim Dice, which would also be really cute twin boy names. Silver, Gray, Walker and obviously Lucky, but that's my husband's name so I might be a little biased with that."
"My girls list is a little longer," she revealed. "I love the name Lace, Ruffle, Flora, Jo, Wonder. I love the name Dainty, Penny, Meadow. Ribbon is really cute. And I love a good Dr. Seuss book, so I also really like the name Zola."
However, that was not the only thing that almost passed the brainstorming phase.
"Whisper, Lilac," Nara went on, "and I just recently visited Bunny [Rachel Lambert] Mellon's estate so that was definitely on our list for a very long time. I love the name Bunny as a first name and then Mellon as a second name. I also love Prim, which feels a little more bit more classic and Poppy."
Even though Nara may not have had the opportunity to use these names herself, she hopes that others would value her decisions.
"I hope this helped anyone looking for a little but of inspiration," the 24-year-old model wrapped up her video. "Because finding a baby name was really hard this time around."
In fact, Nara expressed the same opinion while she was pregnant and had previously shared the list of names that were deemed inadequate.
“I'm currently six months pregnant with my fourth,” in a June video, Nara provided an explanation. “For reference, our kids all have pretty unique names, so it's getting harder and harder coming up with names, but here are some names I love that are on my list that I won't be using."
These featured the names Twinkle, Velvet, Berry, and Shimmer for females, and Moss, Goody, Dare, Champ, and Sundae for boys.
“Another name that I love that Lucky does not like at all,” at that time, she remarked, “so it didn't even make it into our list is Butter.”
