Jane Slater is still alive and well. On December 20, a Dallas Cowboys Facebook fan site wrote about her purported death, claiming that she was the victim of "a tragic domestic violence incident." The NFL Network reporter from Dallas dispelled the reports that she had passed away.
"@SlaterNFL did you pass away??" a fan asked Jane on X after sending her a screenshot of the tweet.
Jane answered right away, “I don’t think so?”
