Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo recently met their newest teammate. The former Miss Universe revealed that she and the San Francisco 49ers star welcomed a girl into the world on July 13.
Olivia added to her Instagram Stories and Instagram page with the description, "Colette Annalise McCaffrey," and included a number of black-and-white pictures of the three of them at the hospital. "Colette is so lucky to have the best daddy in the world," Olivia wrote. A love unlike any other.
The couple's adorable addition follows Olivia's announcement four months ago that she and the NFL player were expecting a child. The announcement was accompanied by a pair of pictures of Olivia holding her growing baby bump, with the phrase, "Next chapter, motherhood."
Sophia Culpo, Olivia's sister, could not help but make fun of the model's attempt to hide her pregnancy before sharing her wonderful news after the secret was discovered.
"Now you all know why her nickname is Oblivia... she ain't stealth," Sophia, 28, joked on her Instagram Story after reposting Olivia's Jan. 1 Instagram image, in which the 33-year-old was seen cradling her puppy Oliver in front of her stomach.
Jokes aside, Olivia shared her pregnancy journey with her fans after sharing her news. She talked about her babymoon road trip with her husband of almost a year and her involvement in a TikTok trend that uses old wives' tales to demonstrate how pregnancy symptoms can be used to predict the sex of the unborn child. Her intuition told her that she was expecting a boy. (However, she subsequently disclosed that she was holding off on learning the sex until the arrival of her child.)
The 33-year-old previously talked about her worries about her fertility and how her diagnosis of endometriosis a reproductive disorder in which the uterine tissue grows outside of the uterus could make it more difficult for her to become a mother, even though fans followed her and Christian's journey to parenthood.
In a November 2022 episode of The Culpo Sisters, Olivia stated, “I want to have kids, but I want to make sure that I can,” “It could be really hard for me to have babies.”

“Endometriosis can affect your fertility in a lot of different ways,” the 32-year-old clarified. “You can have endometrial tissue growing near or on your ovaries, it can affect the quality of your eggs, scar your fallopian tubes.”
Furthermore, Olivia felt compelled to begin her and Christian's family as soon as possible due to her worries about the condition's potential impact on her fertility.
“There is so much that I don’t know about what’s going to happen in the future with that condition and I worry all the time about my timeline,” she noted. “I feel like I have to have kids ASAP.”
Christian proposed while traveling to Utah the following spring, and the two were married in her home state of Rhode Island in June 2024. Although she has stated that she is the running back's biggest supporter on the field, the support extends beyond the locker room.
Olivia said, "You have to lean on each other," last spring, "you have to have a healthy outlet to just to vent your frustrations."
“Even when things are exciting everything's better with another person that you can share experiences with," Olivia went on. "So being there to support each other is such a blessing and it really does make everything easier. And at the end of the day, when you have that attitude, there's no worst-case scenario because at least you have each other."
And while they are now balancing life with a newborn, the model previously revealed the ways she and Christian stay connected.
"We just started a book club but we're the only people in it, which is really funny," In September, Olivia came clean. "I'm picking out girly girl thrillers and I'm making him want to read them."
She went on, "And then we try to prioritize date nights at least twice a month." "During the season it can be a little more difficult. But just prioritizing one-on-one time. I'm very excited about our book club. I highly recommend that, because it's been funny and fun."
