Olivia Wilde Responds to Viewers Who Say Her Red Carpet Photo Appears Like "an Actual Dead Body".

Olivia Wilde is doing good, so don't worry, my love. Following a red-carpet photo of her from the San Francisco International Film Festival went viral in April, the Invite filmmaker responded to rumors over her health. Wilde found it "insane" that others on social media were saying that she was "looking like an actual dead body."
“We did the [red carpet], and then I saw that picture and I was like, 'Alright, but it probably won't go very far. No one’s going to see this,'" on the June 17 episode of Call Her Daddy, Wilde stated. "And then suddenly it was f--king everywhere. And I was like, 'Oh, my God.'"

The 42-year-old reported hearing comments like "she's definitely sick" and "she's dying." She further said, "People were diagnosing me with Graves' disease," an autoimmune condition that can cause loss of weight.
The actress from Don't Worry Darling called the whole confusion "undeniably hilarious" at the time, but she emphasized that the picture was just captured from an awkward angle.
“All of us have had this situation where you take a bad picture,” she clarrified. “Imagine if then it was in, like, a hundred million people's phones and you’re like, ‘Oh no! That is not how I actually look.’ I laughed so hard.”
As the photo went public, Wilde reported that she and her close friends had a great time.
“The thing that is great about having really good friends is that they are the ones to laugh the hardest,” she revealed. “I guarantee any joke that's been made about me, my friends made it first, in a much funnier way."
Wilde acknowledged that the discussion surrounding the widely shared image was justified, even though she claimed that the incident highlighted her conviction that misogyny still exists and that "the internet doesn't know how to talk about a woman."
"On that one, I'll hand it to them, that picture was so crazy,” she came to a conclusion. “I, too, would've been like, 'Is she OK?'"
