Reflect, Reset, and Re-Strategize - My Ethics review of the month.

"A life unexamined is not worth living."- Socrates.

As the year slips by- with the euphoria gone and all normalized- I choose to take this day off to review my life and see where I have gotten to in respect to where I am coming from, so I can make the necessary adjustment.

I am staying tough on myself and being brutally honest as I examine and review my life.

Firstly, now, I understand and fully agree with the HBR author who wrote the managing yourself series- I can't get access to the author's name- that you would DEVELOP BAD HABIT(s). Honestly, that is true.

For no reason, I became angry usually and made unprofitable speeches.

However, I have been able to add real value to people and have deepened my relationship across all board-both professional and personal levels.

I have been able to live an offence free life- since the people who would make us mad are the people closest to us. Also, my relationship has shown fruit as the feedback on my flaws came from them. It was both intelligently and timely.

For my professional relationship, I was recommended in my absence twice. Also, I got a sit-in meeting invite once and have an unresponded invite with the Head of Business Application from a leading bank in Nigeria.

Since I am a man of faith, my spirituality matters to me. While I have become lazy in my prayer life, I hardly have failed in my word life.

Mentally, I have grown. I was able to handle issues intelligently Most time. Yet, I flopped sometimes.

With January out of the scene, I believe I am wiser and have the intelligence to handle the coming month.

Have a productive February.
