Scooter Braun believes that Justin Bieber's latest album is exactly right. The former Hybe America CEO offered his thoughts on Justin's most recent album, "Swag", just days after the "Baby" singer consented to reimburse his former manager $31.5 million for unpaid commissions and performance cancellations after their business partnership ended in 2023.
On July 12, Scooter posted on his Instagram Stories, saying, "This is without a doubt the most authentically Justin Bieber album to date." It is genuine, unvarnished, and lovely. And it is important.
After all, Scooter found the Grammy winner on YouTube in the late 2000s after coming across one of his performance videos. The 44-year-old, who also collaborated with Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato before retiring from music management last year, stated that he will always support Justin even though the two have since severed their relationship.
Scooter exclaimed, "I have had the privilege to witnessing his growth for almost two decades." “Along every journey, there comes a time when an artist fully steps into their own—and that’s what he’s done here. He poured his soul into this project, and you can feel it in every single run.”
Scooter praised the consideration and attention that went into every part of the project, even the way the singer of "Beauty and a Beat" unexpectedly released his seventh studio album on July 11.
“The way he chose to release it is just as intentional as the music itself—and I’m happy to see him do it his way,” he went on. “I have played no role in this one, but as someone who’s always believed in him, I’m incredibly proud and impressed and genuinely enjoying the music.”
What was the response to Justin's album from his wife, Hailey Bieber, with whom he has a 10-month-old baby named Jack Blues Bieber? The founder of Rhode Beauty was pleased that the album was putting a halt to some of the breakup rumors on social media because the cover art shows a black-and-white photo of their baby boy and the lyrics contain subtle references to the singer's personal life.
In reference to a widely shared video of Justin reprimanding photographers for pursuing him during an evening excursion to Malibu beach, she wrote on her Instagram Stories on July 10th, "Is it finally clocking to you f--king losers?"
In the video from June 13, Justin told photographers, "You are not getting it, it is not clocking to you." "It's not clocking to you that I'm standing on business."
