Tamar Braxton shares that she "almost died" after being discovered in a pool of her own blood.
After a near-fatal incident, Tamar Braxton is recuperating. The singer of "All the Way Home" opened up about how she just narrowly avoided death after a loved one found her in a crisis.
In a post on her Instagram Stories on August 19, she said, “I struggled to write this, but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can't even really talk anymore I'm so weak,” “I almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury.”
Tamar, 48, said that although she was lucky to be discovered in time, the ramifications of the traumatic experience have only gotten worse since it first happened.

“As the days go by the worse it is,” she went on. “I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility.”
Tamar, who has a 12-year-old son named Logan Herbert with her ex-husband Vincent Herbert, continued by saying that even though she cannot remember the specifics of the incident, it has already significantly changed her perspective on life.
“The way I look at life now is totally different,” she revealed. “As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins... pray for me for real.”
Tamar's representative has not responded to requests for comment from news sources.
On her Instagram Stories, Tamar reshared a post that stated, "Thank you God for waking me up today," hours before sharing the details of her misfortune.
In December 2022, the Braxton Family Values alumnus also faced another health scare after developing flu-like symptoms.
She wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post at the time, "Literally, I was with my best friends @normankgyamfi and @wardellmalloy shopping and doing Christmas fun s—t, and the VERY NEXT DAY I had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance, needed oxygen because I thought God was taking me home because I could not breathe and my chest was on FIRE!!"
After stating that her illness was "Hella contagious," Tamar advised her fans to "please be careful." “I wasn't around a lot of people and have NO IDEA where it came from,” she revealed. “Enjoy y'all holiday AT HOME. u don't want this.”
