Taylor Frankie Paul isn't hiding how grateful she is. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star appreciated people who had supported her throughout the couple's custody dispute after being granted supervised visitation of her and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen's 2-year-old kid.
“Just want to say THANK YOU to those that have all helped carry,” the 31-year-old Taylor wrote a caption for an Instagram photo she received on April 10 that included a variety of care items. “Nothing but gratitude for these gifts given by different people at different times that have been essential for me through this specific time.”
“Thank you to every message, meal, gift, call, prayer, and support of any kind sent,” she also included an emoji of hands in prayer. “There is the human side of this and then it gets to a point of it being miraculous when you start to see it from a bigger lens.”
Taylor can be seen crying in the opening image of her article. Taylor wrote on screen, "It's miraculous that every essential or reminder I've needed was GIVEN through people," further highlighting her appreciation for her town.
Taylor's message follows Dakota's temporary custody of the couple's son, for which he filed a protective order on March 19, the day TMZ released a 2023 video showing the couple fighting.
Taylor, who is also the mother of two children with her ex-husband Tate Paul, was given supervised visitation of the youngster after appearing in court on April 7. This arrangement will last until her and Dakota's next hearing on April 30.
The reality TV personality has also been dealing with the fallout from her Bachelorette season 22 cancelation, which occurred following the release of a video featuring her and Dakota in which Taylor is seen hitting her ex-boyfriend with a metal stool before a child can be heard sobbing.
Taylor gave an honest update on how she's been handling this phase of her life ahead of her most recent court appearance.
“The last 40 days felt like hell on earth,” she wrote a message for an Instagram clip from April 6. “Through every panic attack I prayed for strength as I could feel my body breaking down and out from the distress of it all. And HE sent just that in various ways along with so many undeniable signs saying, 'I am with you' which I can’t wait to share that part.”
“I’ve prayed since I was young and never strayed away because I believe he wants us to ask for help especially during our lowest points,” she went on to say. “However, instead of just asking I switched over to thanking him at the end of each day no matter how low I felt.”
