The Service of our Warriors
Over the last three days, the evil of Boko Haram has continued to cause problems. Premium Times and other leading outlets reported that an Army commander was killed along with many soldiers. In total, 53 fellow citizens have died in three days.
While we are here on social media and blogs, I want us to put their families in prayers. I do meet these young men in our military academy whenever I volunteer via teaching, and it is always painful when events like this happen: perhaps one of those youthful lives had gone.
Forget the politics; let us support our soldiers and appreciate them. They answered the most challenging calls and we need to appreciate the sacrifices.
