Tommy Lee Jones breaks his silence following the death of his daughter, Victoria Jones.
Tommy Lee Jones is mourning a loss in his family. Following the passing of his 34-year-old daughter Victoria Jones, the Oscar winner and his family issued a statement.
"We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts, and prayers," read the message to media outlets on January 2. "Please respect our privacy during this difficult time."
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Victoria, an actress who debuted in Men in Black II at the age of eleven, was discovered dead in a hotel room in San Francisco early on January 1.

Officials from the San Francisco Fire Department told news outlets that at 2:52 a.m. on New Year's Day, they responded to a medical emergency. When paramedics arrived, they declared the victim—who they did not identify—dead at the spot.
The official cause of Victoria's death has not been disclosed.
Victoria, who Tommy Lee shared with her ex-girlfriend Kimberlea Cloughley and their 43-year-old son Austin Jones, appeared in her father's 2005 neo-Western film The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada and 2014's The Homesman following her part in her father and Will Smith's 2002 film. A small part in One Tree Hill is among her other acting credits.
Additionally, 79-year-old Tommy Lee was extremely proud of the effort she put into her profession as a child, particularly her linguistic abilities.
