Tyga Calls Doja Cat’s Album “Demonic” After She Slams His Use of AI on Latest Album $tarface.
Despite releasing his most recent album, $tarface [StarFace], Tyga wants the public to know that he's still blessed with it. After Doja Cat, the artist he had previously worked on the song "Freaky Deaky" in 2022, criticized him for using AI to produce his latest release, the "Rack City" rapper talks out.
"Listen, I love Doja, but she made a demonic album,” on August 13, Tyga remarked on TMZ Live. "But I still love her."
As he acknowledged using AI as a tool on $tarface, the "Say So" superstar had previously attacked him.

"Nobody asked me anything about Tyga, but I felt like saying this,” while in a social media video on August 12, she claimed. “Tyga is a penis for making an AI album."
The 36-year-old detailed how exactly he made his most recent album in response to Doja Cat's remarks, pointing out that a lot of creative labor still went into crafting it.
"What I said was I used AI-assisted things in the production," he clarified. "I said all the vocals are me. I wrote all the songs."
"When it comes to the'80s synths and some of the guitar solos, yes, I used AI for that," Tyga added, "but I didn't make a full AI album. That's not what I did. I was in the studio for three months working on this."
The rapper from "Taste" continued by saying that he feels like he's being singled out as part of a bigger problem with AI in the music business.
"At the end of the day, I'm a small piece of the puzzle in this bigger conversation," he elaborated. "It's really not my fight. I'm just telling people because I like to be honest with the listeners with how I used it."
Tyga made his initial remarks while promoting $tarface, which was released at the end of the previous month.
“It’s supposed to give you an experience and a feeling. But we definitely used AI as a [tool],” in an interview released on August 6, he informed VIBE. “And I know people are going to be mad about me saying this, but it’s where technology is going. It’s no different than when AutoTune came out. Some people were opposed to it, but real artists took it and used it.”
