Visionary Startup Founders

You read about all those visionary founders. Sure, they are visionaries because they succeeded. And the temptation is to become like them and that means WAIT until you are a visionary – “a person with original ideas about what the future will or could be like” - before you can start something. Interestingly, a visionary founder is a fairy tale most of the time. Few are in this world if you look at it critically. Even Steve Jobs got lost at the beginning in Apple. That was why he left and then returned.

What happens is that you read about outcomes from men and women who started something. Learn quickly what is happening and then PIVOT into areas where they found glory. In other words, even they are not perfect at the beginning. They could not predict that future perfectly.

Simply, do not measure yourself on things that do not exist. Do not wait until you become perfect.

You are already visionary enough. Begin today and if there is a need to pivot, do so. But do not procrastinate.

The best way to start is simply by starting, same way director's secret is nothing, other than directing.

He who does things makes mistakes  (sometimes), but he does nothing lives in continuous mistakes all the time.

The things we term 'best' products are so because people found VALUE in them; that doesn't make them the best inventions ever made; but utility is what actually determines who should be placed where on the ladder.

You cannot lay claim to being the best writer/author, just because you have the 'best' storylines in your head; the world only takes notice and rewards those who do something, and never about those who are waiting to do something.

Act first, and from there, the appropriate tittle or nomenclature can then be assigned to your deed.
