Why Jelly Roll Compared Sex With Bunnie Xo Before His Weight Loss to “Playing Twister.”

Jelly Roll's sexual life hasn't always been enjoyable. In fact, the singer of "Son of a Sinner" acknowledged that seeing how his weight negatively impacted his sex relationship with wife Bunnie Xo was one of the reasons he started his 200-pound weight loss quest.

“I realized then how much my addiction had been hurting this family, how much that my sex life with my wife was horrible,” on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast broadcast from December 10, Jelly Roll revealed this to Joe Rogan. “Dude, I married a f--kin’ big-t-tty, blonde, beautiful woman, dawg.”

“I married the kind of woman that makes you smile when you're crying, Joe,” the 41-year-old, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, went on. “And I couldn't even get aroused I was so big. I was having to play Twister to have sex—left foot here, right foot in the X. ‘Are we in there yet? Tell me if you feel something.’ It was bad.”

Jelly Roll, the father of two children from past relationships, Bailee Ann, 17, and Noah, 9, said that his intimacy with Bunnie Xo was hindered by his weight, but he clarified that his wife wasn't the only family member.

“I think about my son,” he continued. “My brother would have to go throw football with him. I was too big to throw the football. I was like, ‘That's what my addiction has done to these people.’”

The singer of "Halfway to Hell" pledged to begin exercising and take his first walk as part of his weight loss goal after seeing the detrimental effects on his family.

"I'm done lying to y'all and I'm done lying to me,” he remembered telling his folks. “I told y'all I was going to go do this walk and I'm going to do this walk."

Additionally, Jelly Roll was met by a welcoming team upon his return from the outing.

“I'm coming up the driveway to the hill, and all my family is out there, cheering me on, clapping, hands up,” he stated. “I'd done nothing but lie to them for years about this weight. I had done nothing. I'd never proved to them that I was going to change or that I'd be a man of my word in any regard.”

The vocalist of "Wild Ones" continued, “They had every reason not to go out there and cheer me on. That was the moment where I was like, ‘Damn.’”

What is Jelly Roll's current attitude toward his weight loss?

“I never thought I’d lose this weight, dude,” he revealed. “Dude, I feel great, Joe. I feel really, really good, dude.”

Jelly Roll whom recently has also shared a deeply emotional collaboration post on Instagram with Craig Morgan and the Grand Ole Opry from the Joe Rogan Experience, announcing one of the greatest honors in country music.

Craig Morgan officially invited and congratulated Jelly Roll as the newest member of the Opry family—a milestone that cements his place in Nashville’s most historic tradition.

In his post, Jelly Roll wrote:

“I don’t even know what to say right now y’all. They invited me to be a member of the Opry. CRAIG MORGAN INVITED ME TO BE A MEMBER OF THE OPRY!!!! I’m honored beyond words, and I can’t stop pinching myself. To everyone at the Opry, y’all are like family to me. To Craig Morgan, no matter how many times I say it I’ll never be able to tell you enough how much this has all meant to me. I love you, Joe Rogan.”

This announcement marks a defining chapter in Jelly Roll’s journey—from outsider to one of country music’s most celebrated voices.
