Kelly Osbourne stands up for herself over "cruelty" following her look at the 2026 BRIT Awards.

On March 1, Kelly posted on Instagram Stories. Following her appearance at the 2026 BRIT Awards Feb. 28, The Osbournes alum—daughter to Sharon Osbourne and the late Ozzy Osbourne—had a few words for internet trolls.
"There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something,” on March 1, Kelly posted on Instagram Stories. "Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.”
"None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character,” she continued. "I’m currently going through the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!”
Kelly made these remarks a few days after replying to an online post that implied the Fashion Police alum "looks like a dead body" and "Looks like she's going to see her dad soon."
"Literally can't believe how disgusting some human beings truly are!” on February 23, Kelly shared a screenshot of the comment on Instagram Stories. "No one deserves this sort of abuse!”
The 41-year-old, however, is accustomed to dealing with criticism about her appearance and has particularly engaged in body-shaming after her father's death in July.
"I am ill right now,” Kelly, who is engaged to Sid Wilson and has a 3-year-old son named Sidney, stated in a December Instagram Story. "My life is completely flipped upside down. I don’t understand why people expect me to bounce back and look like everything is just fine in my life when it’s not.”
"The fact that I’m getting out of bed and facing my life—trying should be more than enough,” she went on to say. “And I should be commended for that.”
Sharon also supported her daughter.
"She's right," in December, Sharon stated on Piers Morgan Uncensored. "She's lost her daddy. She can't eat right now."
Posting critical remarks on social media is "a shield for people that are unhappy," the 73-year-old added.
She went on, "They’ve something wrong with their lives,” "They’re not happy.”
