Price of Tricycle To Crash As Innoson Rolls Out Local Brands

0

Nigerian automobile manufacturer, Innoson vehicle manufacturing company with its headquarters in Nnewi, Anambra, Nigeria, has rolled out locally made tricycles popularly called “Keke Napep” in Nigerian parlance.

It has been disclosed that the current price of tricycles in Nigeria is sold from around N750,000 to N900,000, with the price constantly increasing. With the arrival of lnnoson local tricycle brand, it has been speculated that the company may sell at N500,000 which will no doubt crash the price of tricycles in the Nigerian market.

In April, the manufacturer disclosed that the company acquired a 150,000 sqm land in Owerri, Imo state Nigeria, for the establishment of a new plant, adding that the construction works are already ongoing.

The head of corporate communications Innoson group, Mr. Cornel Osigwe, revealed that the company is already serving 5 African countries including Sierra Leone, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, and Mali. The company is expected to ramp production capacity to 60,000 cars annually when the new plant is completed.

Innoson has no doubt been active in playing a role to stimulate Nigeria’s economy through job creation and conservation of scarce foreign exchange. Despite the low patronage of Innoson vehicles from the Nigerian government, it is gratifying to note that the automobile company has continued to receive patronage from the governments of neighboring West African countries, with the company projected plan to expand its operations to other African countries which will see Innoson vehicle dotting their landscape.

In the year 2020, according to NBS, it disclosed that Nigerians spent about N304.23 billion importing motorcycles and tricycles into the country within nine months. With the increasing price of the Keke Napep, Nigerians are being ripped off by the exorbitant cost of buying tricycles.

According to the chairman of the National Coordinator of the National Tricycle Dealers Association, Engineer Femi Komolafe, he disclosed that some investors in Nigeria hijacked the importation of tricycles because of the backing of the law from the National Assembly, backing the importation of tricycles as a means of poverty alleviation, so they took advantage by flocking the country with it.

It became a hot cake which led to the sharp rise in the demands which these importers took advantage of to fleece those wanting to use them for transport business. When they discovered that Nigeria is a major market for tricycles, they began to increase the prices. Today, Nigeria is faced with a precarious situation where the Naira continually falls against the dollar.

It is therefore advisable for the government to halt certain imports and focus on local industries in the country, like the Innoson automobile company. Innoson no doubt has the potential to address the crash of the naira against the dollar and other foreign currencies, which was created by importing vehicles as well as tricycles.

It makes no sense that the government continues to import tricycles for outrageous amounts, yet it has an automobile company that manufactures one at a lesser price. If given the support needed from the government, Innoson can transform the Nigerian economy into an industrialized one.

Just like the USA continues to pride Ford motors as its own, it is high time the Nigerian government pushes Innoson motor to be a household brand that will place the country on a world map and also compete with other top brands. The Innoson brand will no doubt put a stop to the excessive importation of automobiles into the country that is seriously affecting the naira as well as the economy. Local manufacturing of vehicles and tricycles will also help to conserve the country’s elusive foreign currencies and also make it affordable for Nigerians to buy.

Congratulations Senator Tinubu for Winning APC Presidential Ticket

3

Congratulations Senator Tinubu: “By this time in 2022, APC will select Bola Tinubu as the presidential flagbearer of the party for Election 2023. Mr. Tinubu will select a retiring governor from the southeast as his running mate. … The present governor of Ebonyi state will likely be his running mate. Engr David Umahi will win with PDP in 2019 but will decamp to APC shortly.” Ndubuisi Ekekwe, October 1, 2018 .

I am updating that second part since PDP did not keep its “promise” to zone to the South. So, Governor Umahi will not get it. Congratulations Senator Bola Tinubu. Now, it is set – Obi, Tinubu and Atiku. Safe travels and great campaigns people.

More from PT.

After months of intense horse-trading among various power blocs within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu, was Wednesday declared the winner of the presidential primary of the party.

At the presidential primary concluded in Abuja Wednesday, Mr Tinubu, who polled 1,271 votes, defeated 13 others in the race. His closest opponent was the former minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, who scored 316 votes.

Mr Tinubu, while declaring his intention to run for the presidency of Nigeria in January, said it has always been his lifetime ambition.

He disclosed this at the State House shortly after visiting President Muhammadu Buhari. He was also the first of the aspirants to officially make public his intention to run.

Mr Tinubu will now challenge the candidates of other parties in next year’s presidential election. His opponents will include Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.

Comment: The man Tinubu gave the rest a trouncing, politics has a way of showing people how popular and grounded they are. Some got zero vote…

There is nothing like being between the rock and hard place in 2023 election, so nobody should complain. Peter Obi is there to receive all the votes from all those who still think the two biggest parties didn’t choose the right candidates. So, if you fail to vote in next year’s election, just know that you are the problem, not politicians.

Top Ways To Make Your Messages More Engaging

1

We all know the saying, “It’s not what you say. It’s how you say it.” This is especially true when it comes to written communication. The way you craft your message can mean the difference between someone taking the time to read it – and understanding it – or quickly hitting the delete button. Whether you’re trying to sell a product or promote your brand, if people aren’t paying attention to your content, you’re not going to get very far. So how can you make sure that your content is as engaging as possible? Here are some tips:

1. Be Clear on What You’re Trying to Achieve

Before you start writing, it’s essential to take a step back and think about what you’re trying to achieve with your message. What do you want people to do after reading it? Once you have a clear idea of your goals, you can craft your message accordingly. If you’d like your customers to hit an important goal like upgrading to a paid account or becoming pro users of your app, you should create a campaign geared towards those objectives. However, if you’re trying to increase brand awareness or build relationships with customers, your messaging will differ. Keep your goals in mind as you write, and make sure that everything you include is working towards them.

2. Incorporate Emojis in Your Message

Emojis are a great way to add personality to your message and make it more engaging. They can also help break up long blocks of text and make your message more visually appealing.

When using emojis, it’s essential to use them sparingly. Too many emojis in a message can be off-putting and difficult to read. In emoji use, a good rule of thumb is to limit yourself to one or two per message. That way, you can use them to add emphasis without going overboard.

3. Make it Personal

When someone feels like they’re being talked to directly, they’re more likely to pay attention. You can make your messages more personal by using the recipient’s name or addressing them directly. For example, “Hey John, we noticed that you’ve been using our free trial for a while now and we wanted to let you know about our special offer…” People want to do business with companies that understand them and their needs. You show your customers that you know them and invest in their success by making your messages personal.

4. Use Simple Language

Most people don’t have the time or patience to read through long, complicated messages. When writing for the web, it’s essential to use simple language that can be easily understood. This doesn’t mean dumbing down your content – make sure that you’re getting your point across clearly and concisely. Using complex words and sentence structures will only serve to alienate your readers. So, could you keep it simple and to the point? Your readers will thank you for it.

5. Keep It Short and Sweet

Most people have short attention spans, and they’re quickly overwhelmed by long messages. So if you want to engage your readers, keep your messages short and sweet. Get to the point soon and be concise in your writing. Long messages are often tedious to read, and it’s easy for people to lose interest before they get to the end. So save yourself – and your readers – some time and keep it brief.

6. Use Power Words

Power words are words that evoke emotion and provoke a reaction. They’re the words that make people sit up and take notice. And they’re an essential part of making your message more engaging. Some examples of power words include:

  • Amazing
  • Incredible
  • Life-changing
  • Must-have
  • Game-changer

Including a few power words in your message can help to capture attention and keep people engaged. Just be careful not to overdo it. A few well-placed power words will do the trick.

7. Use CTA’s to Drive Action

A call-to-action (CTA) is an instruction that encourages people to take a specific action. It’s telling your readers what you want them to do next. And it’s an integral part of making your message more engaging. Your CTA should be clear and concise. It should also be relevant to the content of your message and aligned with your overall goals.

For example, if you’re writing a blog post, your CTA might be to “read more” or “subscribe to our newsletter.” If you’re sending an email, your CTA might be to “click here” or “download now.” Including a CTA in your message will help to ensure that people take the action you want them to take. And that’s what engagement is all about.

Making your messages more engaging is about understanding your audience and knowing what they want. It’s also about being clear, concise, and to the point. And it’s about using visuals, emojis, and power words to add some personality and punch to your message. By following these tips, you’ll be well on your way to creating more engaging content that will resonate with your readers.
