Digital Music Freedom – How To Transfer Your Collection from iTunes to Cloud Drive

0

Here is how  to move digital music collection from Apple’s iTunes software to Amazon’s new “Cloud Drive” music service

1. Visit Amazon.com  enter your user name and password, and find the link that says “upload files.”

2. Agree to the terms of service and solve a Captcha, one of those tricky image-recognition puzzles that prove you’re an actual human being.

3. Download Amazon’s “MP3 uploader” software, which scans the music on your hard drive.

4. Select about 1,000 of the gazillion songs you own and mark them for upload.

5. Wait around six hours for the upload to finish.

6. Download Amazon’s separate Cloud Player app for Android to stream that music to your phone, or use a Web browser to listen to it from any PC.

Be Careful With Cloud Services – When Problems Hit, You Are Helpless

0

Early this afternoon, we had interruptions in our services. Our hosted platform failed. No just Tekedia but organizations like IEEE – the biggest technical organization in the world. It  has proven one thing – we share cloud based services with IEEE. As we were having problems, there were also and none of us could do anything. We just waited until the host solved the problems.

This is dangerous. Imagine if this has been extremely time sensitive service. What will you do? Just hold up and wait for someone you do not know, never seen, solve and keep you in business? What of if they are gossiping over there while you are losing customers?

Cloud saves money, but the risks are very huge. It could be a bomb that can explode on a busines. Better get all the main services in-house and outsource the auxiliary ones. Unless, you want to Hope and not act when problems hit.

The photo is the captured page of IEEE when it failed. Of course, we did not bother to capture  tekedia since we are telling you it happened.  We  hope to prevent such interruptions.

When The Governor Lied on Twitter About Election Results – And Then Deleted

0

Governor of Kwara state, Bukola Saraki, got the election result wrong when he tweeted as below. This is the result if you have not seen it.

The fact is that only 3 House Seats have been called! He got the Senate right.

It is very strange that he could tweet without having his facts right. Was this the designed result that never worked out? This is social media. The world is watching – be careful Governor.
