Tekedia is modifying the Nigeria Presidential Election Barometer. With tonight’s partial results, anyone that does not take ACN serious in this election cycle has a big problem. ACN could surprise PDP in the Presidential election.
We are moving ACN from 3 to 5 and dropping PDP from 8 to 6 on the chances of winning the Presidential election. PDF has the edge because of the power of the incumbency.
The party/the President that Thisday/Ipsos poll said was winning very much is challenged very well, today, from West to North. It is very evident that Thisday/Ipsos did not take enough sample. Or perhaps they used iPhone and Blackberry in recruiting. Of course, those participants will see things differently. But if they have sampled average Nigerians mix, they did not get it right. Tonight did not validate that poll, if we can extrapolate.

Amazing! Despite all the web tools and technologies, no one can make the calls. The results are not coming yet and there is no place to find them. The whole concept was to text polling station results to a central server and from there tally the numbers before the government finishes by tomorrow. It is past 12.10 am in Lagos and the cloud is still thick. So technology did not work out because people failed to text! Check Next, ReclaimNaija and Revoda – nothing has come there. But Saharareporters has some numbers though most are unconfirmed. SaharaReporters thinks , through unconfirmed results, that PDP lost in Aso Rock polling station – not possible because it means that the people actually voted themselves out of work. Generally, the results are not coming quick despite the web tools deployed.
