After six years of studying law, Kim Kardashian openly discussed her failed bar exam results before the news went public.

Kim Kardashian had no problem disclosing that she had failed her legal exam. The Kardashians star, who has been enrolled in a law school program for the past six years, admitted that she "instantly" realized she needed to release the findings before word got out on the internet.

"You get the results on a Friday, and I knew Sunday morning they were going to be live on the internet," in a December 4 interview, Kim informed the New York Times. "I was like, 'OK, let's do this, I know what I've got to do. This really sucks because I put so much time into it, but I know what I can do better.'"

She went on, "I'm pretty good at taking a failure and turning it into something and I just don't have the time to dwell. You can feel sorry for yourself for a second, but I need to take that time and put it into studying more."

The 45-year-old did, however, take a moment to absorb the information.

"I didn't feel good about it," she acknowledged it. "I was really uncomfortable and not confident for a while."

What is Kim's current plan, thereafter?

"Falling short isn't failure—it's fuel," after revealing the results of her bar exam on November 8, she said on her Instagram Story. "I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more."

The creator of SKIMS was not going to give up on her studies, even if she had passed the major exam. Late last month, she said to journalist Martha Debayle, "Discipline is a form of self-respect."

"I just loved the routine of studying," she carried on. "That's something I can control. Maybe it's a control freak, but I love that space and I love living in that space no matter what."

Kim stated that it "just wasn't my time" to successfully complete the bar test. "I instantly knew that it's a bigger lesson and that I just have to do better and try harder and get back at it."
