Due to an event involving his dogs, Tyrese Gibson is currently facing legal issues. After his huge dogs allegedly attacked and killed a neighbor's pet, Fulton County Police Animal Services Captain Nicole Dwyer told WSB-TV on September 29 that Atlanta police had filed an arrest warrant for the Fast and Furious star in connection with an animal cruelty investigation.

“It is negligence on his part as the homeowner and animal owner, just letting them roam free,” Dwyer informed the publication. “And now they have killed an innocent animal."
Authorities told several publications that the event happened on the evening of September 18 after Harrison Parker, Gibson's neighbor, discovered his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dead in his driveway and immediately dialed 911. Across the street from Gibson's Buckhead property, Parker had an invisible fence in his front yard, and he had let his little dog out.
“I found my dog dead in the driveway,” Parker talked about his pet, Henry, on WSB-TV. “Not hearing him around, it’s just awful.”
Government officials claim that footage from a doorbell camera shows Gibson's pets assaulting Parker's spaniel. Gibson, who plays Roman Pearce in the Fast and Furious film series, was not at home on September 22, despite a search warrant being granted for his property.
Gibson's lawyer, Gabe Banks, responded to the incident by saying in a statement that the actor extends his “deepest condolences to the family who lost their beloved dog to this tragic incident that occurred while Mr. Gibson was away from his home.”
“Upon learning of this unfortunate accident, Mr. Gibson immediately made the difficult decision to rehome his dogs to a safe and loving environment,” the statement went on. “Concerning the misdemeanor warrant, Mr. Gibson is cooperating fully with authorities to address and resolve this matter responsibly.”
Banks remarked that Gibson demands “privacy and understanding,” while he manages the matter, stating, “he remains committed to the safety of his community and the well-being of all animals.”
Atlanta police have been contacted by news organizations for comment, but they have not responded as of yet.
