Following rumors of a disagreement, Jodie Sweetin discusses her position with Candace Cameron Bure.
Jodie Sweetin's opinions differ slightly from Candace Cameron Bure's wherever she visits. In fact, the former cast member of Full House recently considered how her on-screen sister "does her thing" in regard to particular positions.
"We sit on very opposite sides of things,” on the Only Child with Bob the Drag Queen episode from February 12, Jodie stated, “and I’m just kind of a loud, outspoken b---h about a lot of things, and that’s not going to stop me.”
The 44-year-old said, "If that ain't you, that ain't you," alluding to Candace's divergent opinions.

Following Candace's 2022 launch of her Great American Family network, which she said wanted to maintain "traditional marriage" at its center, Jodie previously discussed her Fuller House co-star's position on the LGBTQ+ community.
“We’ve lived very different lifestyles,” in April 2025, Jodie appeared on the podcast The Vault with Monica & Amir. “We just exist in very different worlds.”
The two, however, have a lifetime of history in common despite their divergent viewpoints.
“She is still someone I have known since I was 5 years old,” Jodie added. “So, it’s like family members where we don’t talk all the time and I know if politics come up it’s not going to go well, but I don’t hate you. I’m not going to not hug you.”
Besides her complicated relationship with Candace, the Hallmark Channel actress claimed that she had a close bond with Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen when they were little.
"They would come to my house for the weekends,” Jodie stated on the podcast Only Child. “I took Mary-Kate and Ashley horseback riding for the first time, and now Mary-Kate owns horses and stuff. We would go to Disneyland together. They would spend weekends with my parents, at the house.”
The twins stay out of the spotlight these days. However, Jodie said, "I wish nothing but the best for them," pointing out that they were once "really, really close."
