Jennifer Lopez Opens Up About “Really Tough” Split from Marc Anthony.

Jennifer Lopez is speaking out about the split from Marc Anthony. The "On The Floor" hitmaker, who has 18-year-old twins named Max and Emme with the "Vivir Mi Vida" singer, talked candidly about the challenging time in her life after the breakup.

“After my third divorce, that’s when I really started getting good at it,” in a video posted on Instagram on March 7 by @jpasc24, Jennifer made jokes while performing during her Las Vegas residency. “Seriously, that’s not funny. That’s not funny.”

“It was actually a really tough time,” she added. “I was really about to give up on it all. I mean, I was a single mom with two 3-year-old twins, and I called up one of my mentors. Her name was Louise Hay. Some of you might know who she was. She passed away.”

The well-known self-help author knew exactly how to connect with Jennifer at her difficult period.

“She said to me, ‘Jennifer, you’re a dancer, right?’” the 56-year-old remembered being married to Marc from 2004 till their divorce was completed in 2014. “I said, ‘Yes, I am.’ And she said, ‘When you’re learning a dance, and you get the steps wrong, what do you do?’ I said, ‘I just keep going until I get the steps right.’ And she said, ‘That’s right, Jennifer. Always keep dancing.'"

J. Lo shared the same message with her followers, urging them to live up to her slogan.

“And I wish the same for every last one of you,” she stated, “that no matter what life throws at you, that you dance, and you dance, and you dance—again, and again, and again. I love you so much!”

However, the Hustlers actress has previously been open about her love past. After all, Jennifer recently disclosed that she has never "truly been loved." Jennifer was previously married to Ben Affleck, Cris Judd, and Ojani Noa.

"What I learned, it's not that I'm not lovable," on the October 15 episode of Howard Stern's SiriusXM program, Jennifer revealed this. "It's that they're not capable. They don't have it in them. They need to appreciate the little person inside of them. They need to love them."

However, Jennifer's ex-partners at that point "gave me what they had."

"They gave me all of it, every time. All the rings, all the things I could ever want," Jennifer clarified, “tried to give me the houses, the rings, the marriage, all of it."

However, their attempts appeared to be ineffective. When Howard said, "But they didn't love you," the singer of "Let's Get Loud" responded, "They didn't," adding, "And I didn't love myself."

"But the truth is when you're in this type of career and you have the type of level of fame that we're talking about, there is a compromise," she went on to say. “There are adjustments that you do need to make, because it is a very blessed life."
