A true home is where the heart feels it belongs. Nicole Kidman has no intention of leaving Nashville, the capital of Tennessee, despite the fact that her life with Keith Urban there has ended.
“We have our life here,” In an interview with Variety that was published on March 11, Nicole, who has two daughters with Keith, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14 shared. “I’m part of the city and community for 20 years. It’s my home.”
Indeed, Nicole has some significant support in that neighborhood, including her neighbor and close friend Reese Witherspoon, with whom the Lioness actress claimed to have gone for a lengthy walk the morning of her interview.
Nicole said she was doing well during the meeting, which was the first time she had discussed her breakup with Keith, which happened in September after 19 years of marriage.
“I am, because I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good,” she pondered. “What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect.”
Regarding how she is handling the split in addition to being a mother, the 58-year-old stated, “I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”
Additionally, she perceives a significant difference between the previous year and the upcoming one on a personal level.
“I was quiet. I had other things going on. I was in my shell,” about 2025, she added, “Now in a place of saying, ‘2026. Here we go.’”
The Practical Magic actress went on to discuss her ambitions for the near future, comparing her personal life to the experiences she had on screen, where she has worked on TV shows, short form projects, studio features, and indies.
“I rally against limitations,” she clarified. “And I’m like that in my personal life. This year and my next few years are for the adventures. I’m at a certain time in my life. I’m going to do the things I’ve always dreamt of doing that are not anything to do with work. Just to do with exploration.”
Having recently travelled to Antarctica with Sunday and Faith in January, she takes that seriously.
“I took my sister, nieces and nephews and loads of friends on a cruise,” relating to the vacation, she stated. “We met so many good people that we didn’t know. We saw penguins and sea lions. I’ve worked so hard since I was 14 on this exploration of the human spirit, and I’ve loved being global.”
Nicole and Keith are not the only celebrities who have made the decision to split up in recent months as she concentrates on the future and pursuing more lifelong goals.
