This filthy finish from the audience did not sit well with Nikki Garcia. When the WWE star appeared on Monday Night Raw on November 10, she did respond to fans who made fun of her ex-fiance John Cena.
“The hate is so gross. Even the chants that I got last night [at Raw],” Nikki, 41, stated during her Nikki & Brie podcast's November 13 episode. “But honestly, I think [the chants] got picked up more on TV or I was too in my moment that I didn’t even hear it.”

The wrestler, known in the ring as Nikki Bella, cheered Stephanie Vaquer on as she defeated Raquel Rodriguez in the Boston bout. Before exiting the ring, Nikki made a startling heel turn and gave Stephanie a slap with the championship belt after she had accepted her triumph. The audience also screamed, "Cena left you!" in reference to the couple's July 2018 breakup, as she relished in her wicked turn.

Regarding the audience's response, Nikki, who has a 5-year-old son named Matteo with her ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev, said to her sister, former wrestler Brie Garcia, that she was unaware of the chanting until later that evening. She is not concerned about the hate, though.
“Boston is an amazing crowd,” in the podcast episode, she went on. “It was so fun.”
The Total Divas star has stated that she and John, 48, who is married to Shay Shariatzadeh, are on good terms, despite the fact that it appears that fans are still concerned about the exes' six-year affair. The two did, in fact, temporarily reconnect in February at the 2025 Royal Rumble.
“It was very quick,” Nikki described their friendly exchange in March to Kristin Cavallari. “I was in a circle talking to people. He came to [shake] everyone’s hand. He shook my hand. When he walked away, all the girls were like, ‘Oh my gosh.’”
And even though the wrestler was aware of how everyone was reacting at the moment, she was grateful that the Peacemaker actor did not lean in to greet her.
“It was great because we were breaking the ice, and we both happened to return to WWE at the same time,” she said. “It’s a good feeling.”
