Make her your fiancée. On September 1, Sofia Franklyn, a former co-host of the Call Her Daddy podcast, revealed that she was engaged to her unidentified boyfriend. Sweet pictures of the event revealed that her partner proposed while they were sipping red wine on a balcony overlooking the ocean, despite the fact that his face was purposefully concealed. Sofia captioned the photos, "the OG man-eater is engaged."
In a video of herself dipping fries in ketchup, the Sofia with a F presenter also flaunted the gem, which looks to be a round-cut diamond on a gold bracelet.
What about the moment he knelt down? He placed a ring on her finger on the same day that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift announced their engagement on August 26th, she disclosed via a snapshot of a text conversation with a pal.
Despite the issues she has been involved in over the years, Sofia is feeling fortunate. She mentioned this in a post on September 2nd, writing that she "found love despite the villain edit."
After allegedly refusing to accept a 50/50 arrangement with Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports, Sofia left the popular program in 2020, where she co-hosted with Alex Cooper.
"Sofia did not take the deal and when it got held up and there were no more points coming from her side, we had to move forward without her," In a May 2020 episode of the podcast, which is currently owned by Spotify, Alex stated. "That's all it is. Everyone realized she's never gonna be happy. There were more and more points and then eventually, she stopped sending points and then she never sent her points. She said she wanted it. She never signed it."
However, Sofia revealed that she left because she felt betrayed, despite Alex's claim that the reason was related to negotiations.
"Everything that we had been working toward and planning for the last half a year to year was all of a sudden not the plan anymore and [Cooper thought] we needed to just stay with this company and do what [Portnoy] was saying," Sofia stated in a July 2020 Rolling Stone story. "I found out later [Cooper and Portnoy] 1,000 percent had this relationship that I wasn't aware of and not a part of."
Although Sofia's fiancé's identity is unknown, her termination from the show was purportedly caused by her public relationship with her ex-boyfriend Peter Nelson, an HBO sports executive. However, three years later, she clarified that he was not more involved than a typical romantic partner would be.
“I think the media really tried to put a spin on it and say he was just so involved,” In June 2023, Sofia made this statement on Jason Tartick's Trading Secrets podcast. “He was my boyfriend. Like, you’re obviously going to confide in your boyfriend about your work and everything going on in your life. But he wasn’t that involved.”
