The Putmans. Gia Putman, 11, had her 10th surgery three months after family members were killed in a car accident.

After a fatal vehicle accident, the Putman family is still recovering. The Meet the Putmans stars provided an update on the recovery of the crash survivors three months after patriarch Bill "Papa" Putman, matriarch Barb "Neenee" Putman, and daughter-in-law Megan Putman perished in the Michigan car accident. They also mentioned that 11-year-old Gia Putman, the daughter of Brandon and Kacie Putman, is still in the woods.

"Our family has been and is going through some major challenges, to say the least, for the last three months now," on December 9, the Putmans posted on Instagram. "Yesterday, Gia went through her 10th major surgery in the last 75 days. Our family hasn't been fully together since September 26."

However, since the tween's initial craniotomy, or head surgery, on September 27, the clan has been supporting her.

"We stood next to Gia's bed after a successful surgery and went through all the things God has pulled her through," the Putmans went on. "Just in our short return to the ICU for recovery, we had staff flooding in from Doctors to Nurses to the cleaning staff just to say hi, all excited to see Gia and the progress but honestly, I think they saw God in our family and were drawn to that. They stopped in for a dose of joy that only comes from One place."

And despite the fact that Blake Putman's son and Megan's children, Noah, 15, Lulu, 13, and Alena, 11, were also admitted to the hospital after the collision, the family maintained a positive attitude and relied on their beliefs to help them get through the ordeal.

"One might say that our family deserves a break, that we've endured enough," they revealed. "But although our earthly bodies may be broken and hurting and exhausted and want that break, our hearts and souls are still crying out to God, 'Use me, dear God! Take this and use it for good!'"

They continued, "As scary as it is to fully give up your comfort zone, we pray you pray the same prayer we are, 'God use us! We trust You!'"

On the evening of September 26, the eight family members were traveling together in a Jeep when the collision occurred close to Detroit. Three individuals were killed after a loaded semi-truck struck the car after failing to stop at a stop sign, according to the Tuscola County Sheriff's Office, which spoke to NBC News.
