Tom Holland clarifies to a reporter who mistakenly refers to Zendaya as his girlfriend.
Tom Holland made a careless error in his web. The Spider-Man: No Way Home actor hilariously corrected a reporter who called Zendaya, with whom he became engaged in January, his "girlfriend" during a panel discussion.
"I brought my daughter, and she got to meet your girlfriend," in the video released to X on September 29, the reporter recounted a recent event that the Euphoria actress had attended. "So, I was father of the year."
Tom chuckled at the narrative and swiftly corrected the label to "Fiancée."

The Uncharted actor's need to clarify his connection with Zendaya, which was initially revealed in 2021, is understandable. After all, his father, Dominic Holland, made it apparent that his proposal, which took place during the 2024 holiday season, was the result of much consideration.
“He had purchased a ring," back in January, Dominic posted on Patreon. “He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear."
Zendaya is just as eager to display evidence that she is getting married. The actress from Dune: Part II actually brought attention to their new milestone back in January when she wore a huge five-carat diamond on that finger while attending the 2025 Golden Globes.
However, Zendaya's stylist Law Roach claims that although the couple appears thrilled about their impending marriage, they are not in a rush to become husband and wife.
The couple had not yet begun wedding preparations as of July.
“The process hasn't even started yet," at the moment, Law revealed. “Zendaya is working on so many movies. She's now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she's away doing that. It's so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time.”
However, the waterworks will undoubtedly arrive on their big day. "[They] really love each other and have for a really long time," Law clarifies. "The fact that the world has been able to share in that love story, I think it's really beautiful."
