My book – Africa’s Sankofa Innovation – can be found in some Ghanaian bookstores. (Sankofa is a word from a Ghanaian language.) The problem, though, is that the copies are not authorized by yours truly. Possibly, the person bought a copy from Amazon and ran to the printing press. Nothing new here; respecting IP rights remain one of our challenges, from software to books.
But the piracy has brought some good comments. People bought and then wrote me. Read this one – “Oh you Authored that great book” (LinkedIn) Amazon is not really working well in Africa when it comes to physical books at the moment due to the shipping challenges.
For a limited time, we are giving full access to the eBook on Tekedia, my blog, if you join my webinar. The fee is fair (I demand that for people to respect my time) at $15 or N5,000.
