Before the highest leaders in Nigeria’s petroleum industry and their peers from U.S., Saudi Arabia, UK, and the world, I will speak during the Grand Opening Ceremony of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) international conference in Eko Hotels Lagos next month. My talk is titled “The Abundance in Data”.
Because “every Nigerian is a member of SPE and a petroleum engineer “(lol), unlocking that data in those oil wells and fuel stations will mean unlocking shared prosperity and better destinies for men and women. Yes, as University of Nigeria Nsukka put it, peerlessly, “to restore the dignity of man” (and woman).
That data is the element to see that dignity. The AI, the ML and business models are going to be engines to drive the efficiencies for ALL to rise! Unbounded and unconstrained power of Data will reduce business frictions and also the frictions on the wellbeing of the citizens.
